Anwar back in Parliament??

Its confirmed that Amwar's wife will step down and allow him to run in a by-election in Permatang Pauh Parliaentary seat in the homestate of our present comatose PM. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has hinted that he might be arrested again very soon ( maybe even in the next 48 hours) in connection with sodomy allegations against him which he described as a conspiracy to destroy his political career.

I truly don't give a fuck about who becomes Prime Minister as i already don't agree with any of the present jokers be it Abdullah, Najib or Anwar. Truly there must be somebody better out there right!!

Meanwhile we ordinary folks have to brace ourselves for more traffic choking road blocks by our paranoid half baked goverment in the name of public safety.

Keane & Barry join The SS Liverpool

Is Robbie Keane worth £20million? Well Benitez seems to think so. He looks like the best bet to partner goal machine Fernando Torres since the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch and Andriy Veronin have all failed to gel. I'm sure that Keane will do alot better to add to the firepower to challenge for the premiership but kinda pricey for a 28 year old.

Gareth Barry's transfer to Liverpool finally looks like going through after the Anfield club came up with the money to secure his move from Aston Villa.
The longest-running saga of the summer has reached a confusing climax after an earlier statement that he was staying at Villa Park.
Sportsmail understands that the mix-up was due to a deadline being missed by 20 minutes, and the transfer will finally be concluded on Thursday.
Villa will receive a £17.5million fee plus right back Steve Finnan in exchange for a midfielder who will fulfil his wish to play in the Champions League this season after all.
The transfer has dragged on since May when Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez made it clear that Barry was his top priority.

Its interesting times at Liverpool FC and can't wait for the season to start as i believe the spanish boss is finally getting to grips with the premiership and getting the right players to challenge for the title. Pricey aqusitions but definetly better then the second grade unknowns who have previously come through Anfield.

Pio Cesare Barolo 2003

This is one of my all time favs, a delicious wine with full blackberry aromas, full bodied, hints of coffee, licorice, tar, soft tannins, good balance with a nice long finish. It's exactly what i love about barolo's. ( the lable reminds me of Cinzano bianco).
A great young barolo with a lot of potential for later drinking but meanwhile its a great young wine which believe me is impressive now. I really enjoy drinking it now and delicious with meat. Overall a very good wine.
But as usual good grog don't come cheap it retails for around RM230 at the establishment. It sells for around RM380( or more) a bottle at restaurants but i had the once in a lifetime incident where i enjoyed 2 bottles of this excellent wine for RM130 a bottle due to some fuck-up at this new restaurant which i will not name to protect the innocent staff members from losing their jobs.( and i have the receipt to prove it!)

MESSAGE FOR TUANKU MIZAN
Assalamualaikum,

Tuanku,

I have no idea what is the right way to address a King. I have never met a King in person. I have been courted by a prince (but that is a different story, a long time ago), but no, I have not had the chance to meet a King.

So I apologise if my message to you appears crude and unbefitting a King.

I just know that you are human like all of us, and that Rasullulah SAW was the King of men but he remained the humblest and most accessible of leaders. And he is our guide and example. The example for all mankind.

I do not know if you see what we Malaysians see, because you as with all our leaders, are totally detached from the real people by your immense wealth and man-made protocols. We, the rakyat, see a nation slowly and surely dying a slow, protracted, painful death. Our leaders, from all parties, BN, UMNO, Pakatan have lost their minds. And lost their focus.

They are either insanely bent on becoming the Prime Minister in an undemocratic way, or in the case of those democratically-elected (unfortunately) to rule the nation, driving us into the ground by their power struggles and back-stabbing actions and incompetent rule and unstudied decisions, plans and policies.

We the people are left to fend for ourselves. In my earlier post, I put up a piece by a Capt Aziz Abdullah, entitled, "I weep for Malaysia". He speaks for ALL of us in the most eloquent of manner.

WE ALL ARE WEEPING FOR MALAYSIA. I WEEP AS I WRITE THIS. AREN'T YOU WEEPING, MY KING? AS SOVEREIGN, ARE YOU NOT HUMILIATED THAT MALAYSIA HAS BECOME A LAUGHING STOCK OF THE WORLD AND KNOWN AS THE LAND OF SODOMY?

I wept this morning as I held my daughter tight and felt her tiny beating heart under my palm. I worry for her. I worry for our people. I took part in a Qi Gong exercise group this morning. We consisted of Chinese, Indians, Malays and me, a daughter of a Pakistani immigrant, whose grandfather fought for Malaysia, for your forefathers. I felt tears in my eyes, because this is what Malaysia is about. My dream is always for a Muslim nation and my dream is for all my non-Muslim friends to receive and embrace the message of Allah, which is for all mankind. If they do not accept it, it is my fault, the Muslims fault. Because I, we have failed in our da'wah, failed in spreading the message well and failed in setting a good example. They are still however, my fellow human beings, and I love and care for them and feel their pain and hunger too as they feel mine. We are all brothers and sisters, from one source. Adam and Eve. We all deserve justice and equality and a safe and secure nation to call our home.

Do you not see what is happening today? Our nation is struggling to survive, to breathe.

The economy is at a standstill. The world's chaos are piling up at our door, and soon that door will fly open from the increasing pressure and we will all be consumed. We are unprepared. Our country has been languishing for years, continuously raped and pillaged by the corrupt leaders who abuse all machinery, from the executive to the judiciary to the local councils, to satisfy their greed. Their bottomless greed. And now, the time for reckoning has come.

As Allah said, all destruction is wrought by our own hands. How very true. And when destruction comes, He Says, none will be spared, even the innocent. Because those who had the power and capacity to speak out, DID NOT.

I looked into the horizon as I do every morning as I sent my baby to school earlier. And all I saw and see daily is a black pall of smog, worsening by the day, hanging over the city and the outskirts. It is like a sign, a sign of doom. Physical and spiritual destruction. A reflection of our psyche and hearts. Black, ugly, sinful. As the leaders play their games, the people suffer. trying to make ends meet. Trying to balance family needs and plain survival. The environment suffers. Everything and everyone is neglected.

We have reached the end of our ropes.

YOU, TUANKU MIZAN, are the last line of defense for this nation. You are the KING. Whatever the restrictions of the constitution, believe this. The people will be behind you. The people need you to TELL THE LEADERS TO JUST STOP! STOP WITH THE GAMES, WITH THE POWER STRUGGLE, WITH THE ABUSE OF THE POLICE, THE JUDICIARY AND ALL OTHER MACHINERY MEANT FOR THE PEOPLE'S CONVENIENCE AND WELL-BEING!

TELL THEM TO STOP! ORDER THEM TO STOP!

COMMAND THEM TO START WORKING TOGETHER WITH THE PEOPLE AND COME UP WITH SOLUTIONS AND PLANS FOR OUR FUTURE. LET THE PEOPLE'S VOTES DECIDE WHO SHOULD GOVERN! NOT THE GAMES AND MANIPULATION OF THE POLITICIANS!

The Messenger of Allah SAW said, "Allah SWT will grasp the earth on the Day of Resurrection and will roll up the heavens in His Right, then He will say, "I am the King! Where are the kings of the earth?" [Al-Bukhari]

The trust put by Allah upon the leaders is so great that they should be quaking in their boots from fear of incurring His Wrath by committing injustices or allowing injustice to prevail. Even you Tuanku Mizan, with all due respect, should be quaking in your expensive shoes.

And so, I beseech you,

COMMAND THEM TO STOP THE GAMES AND GET THEM TO START WORKING TOGETHER.

THE PEOPLE NEED YOU.

DO NOT BETRAY THEM WITH YOUR INACTION AND SILENCE.

Top Cop Sues Anwar

"Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan filed a defamation suit against Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Kuala Lumpur Civil High Court at 11am today for alleging that he fabricated evidence in the former deputy prime minister's black eye assault 10 years ago. The suit filed for an unspecified sum after Anwar failed to retract his alledged defamatory statements.

Anwar lodged a police report on July 1 accusing Musa and Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail of fabricating evidence for his black eye assault by former police chief Tan Sri Abdul Rahim Noor the night of his arrest in September 1998.

Musa was then the investigating officer while Abdul Gani was the senior deputy public prosecutor for his sodomy case."

Which brings to my attention of some articles i read on Malaysia Today's THE CORRIDORS OF POWER by Raja Petra Kamarudin listed below

The Unholy Trinity
All That Crap
See the following reports on the matter:
1. Malaysia’s organised crime syndicate: all roads lead to Putrajaya
2. The roaches are scurrying and the rats are hurrying
3. Please, IGP, explain this!
4. The latest update on Infohub Sdn Bhd
5. The walls come crumbling down
6. No peace on Peace Hill
7. Who’s running the asylum anyway?
8. Blow away the whistle-blower
9. Nothing but a den of thieves
10. The land of Walt Disney
11. I rather make the ACA a respected agency than a feared one

So my million dollar question here is why have you Mr. IGP not taken legal action againts the author of the reports above as they are also very defamatory in nature and it involves the whole organization that you head. Since you're going to sue Anwar for defamatory statements why are you sitting on Raja Petra?? Maybe there is some truth in Raja Petra's articles that you dare not take action for fear that it will expose you??

CSI Kuala Lumpur

I don't get this, first the police then our so called Home Minister and to top it off even our sleepy Prime Minister has jumped on the band wagon demanding for Anwar Ibrahim's DNA!! I'm no expert but i've watched enough of the popular TV series CSI to say "What The Fuck!" is our our people in power trying to do?
DNA is unique to every individual and since the police should already have a sample fro 10 years ago then take it out and see if it matches if it does get him if it doesn't then drop it. Why all the charades about wanting a new sample. It don't make any fucking sense! Unless of course the sample from 10 years ago was fudged. In that case then the 2 jokers ie police chief and attorney general have a lot to answer for right?
It's really embarassing to read how our so called leaders from this half past six goverment conduct themselves, its as if everyone has something to hide and that this whole fiasco is just the prelude to some really heavy shit skeletons coming out of the closet.

How Now Pak Lah?!!?

You have managed this country to the ground and have the audacity to say that you still have the mandate to govern. Thanks to the speaker of Parliament for not allowing the debate of "NO CONFIDENCE" againts you and not forgetting to mention your impending retirement in 2010 where you will hand over the reins to Najib. By the way is it your right to hand over the seat to your deputy?

Its already been 5years in office and we have not witnessed a single thing that you have done to stimulate the economy except for those comatose corridoors that were suppose to bring investors rushing to our shores. I believe that the reason the price of fuel was raised so sharply was to make up for the impending failure of attracting any investors thus roping us the poor taxpayers to make up for the shortfall of your doomed backdoors. Malaysia was once considered one of the emerging economic tigers of asia but now we are advised to plant vegetable plots in our backyards to tackle rising food cost!!

You who are clueless about running the country and the economy using the press and half baked yes men and women of your cabinet to form shit loads of commitees, commissions and even royal commissions to hoodwink the people into thinking that something is being done to benefit them. Incidentally we don't seem to see you doing much work except delegating your mouth pieces to speak on your behalf. Frankly i believe you won't be able to talk let alone debate your way out of a paper bag thats why some Cheeky guy had to debate Anwar Ibrahim on your behalf on tv recently. What were you so busy doing that you couldn't spend an hour on tv to put your points forward ie. let the people hear it from the horses mouth.

Your govenor of bank negara, deputy finance minister, domestic consumer and trade minister are all idiots in my opinion when they all parrot that the fuel hike should not affect the consumers and that the inflationary rate should not breach 5%. What the fuck!!! I'm already paying 40% more for fuel and my suppliers and transporters are raising the cost of their products and services between 20% to 150% so how the hell do you come back with only a 5% inflation in the country.

I believe i'm not alone when i ask when the FUCK are you going to realise that YOU FUCKed up on March 8 general elections, YOU are FUCKing up the economy, YOU are selfishhly FUCKing up the future of this country with YOUR FUCKing incompetence?

Felton Road Otago Pinot Noir 2007

Just back from a short tipple with a buddy and his better half at the usual establishment catching up with all the craziness hapenning around us ie. politically and this was recomended a New Zealand Pinot Noir whose claim to fame is being the southern most vineyard in the world.

A youthful crimson wine with hints of coffee, sultanas and red fruit on the nose. Fruity on the palate with oak, mineral and very well managed tannins. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky but a little too short for my liking, however i believe there was even a hint of "tong kwai" the chinese herb at the end. Definetly a bottle that would go very well with food. It retails for around RM198 and i think its ok value for the buck.

GENERAL NOTICE

I've not been writing lately due to my laptop going on the fritz and the fact that the price hike in fuel has been stressing me out. The sudden price hike has got me working overtime trying to balance my cost of production, delivery etc that it has worn me out at the end of the day. I know its a poor excuse but mind you a legitimate one.
However i've been keeping track of the developments around and i'm back and going to have my say.............
