THE EARTH CAMPAIGN GLOBAL HOUR

The Earth Hour Global Campaign for climate change kicks off worldwide tonight; in Malaysia, the designated time for lights off is 8-9 pm/STAR

The objective of the campaign is to encourage as many individuals, households and businesses as possible to turn off their lights as a symbolic statement against global warming.

Earth Hour 2008 is a global movement. The Earth Hour is a WWF initiative supported by businesses and individuals around the world. Earth Hour 2007 was primarily a Sydney event, held on March 31, 2007, when 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights for one hour. This massive collective effort reduced Sydney's energy consumption by 10.2% for one hour, which was the equivalent of taking 48,000 cars off the road for a year.

*#* THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT DID NOT COMMIT TO THIS GLOBAL EFFORT. BUT WE MALAYSIANS CAN DO OUR LITTLE BIT TONIGHT. SWITCH OFF FOR ONE HOUR FOR MOTHER EARTH.

Remember 8:00 - 9:00 PM tonight!

The Dutch Are Back

The Dutch captured Malacca from the Portugese in 1641 and ruled the lucrative spice trade for 150 years. They are now making a comeback on Malaysian shores. This time in the form of parking meters hastilly installed by the Subang Jaya Municipal Council in the Bandar Puteri Puchong commercial centre.

As reported in The Sun (March 27th) the Pay and Display machines instructions are in Dutch and uses the Euro currency. The paper reported that the machines look weathered and are probably second-hand machines. When informed of this the local council spokesperson said that they will despatch a team to investigate the matter.

The reality is its just another fuckin rush job by the councils cronies to start operations before the state goverment looks into all these shady deals and agreements. Its a known fact that many local councellors have a finger in the lucrative parking meter business.

FIRST IT WAS OIL FOR FOOD NOW ITS OIL FOR BOATS

Let's face it, this whole Terengganu saga boils down to the oil royalties/ Duit Ehsan that is the centre of this whole Chief Minister saga. Its reported that this Duit Ehsan is managed by that idiot Prime Minister. Its just like the way George Bush justifies America's presence in Iraq. Its all about the oil and here its about the money oil brings to the state. Thats why idiot PM is justifying hanging on to Idris Jusoh for Menteri Besar by getting up all those fucked up ADUN's in the frontline to storm the palace while he sits far behind clueless of what to do next.

In Perlis this idiot PM gave in to the Raja's choice cause there's nothing for him, son-in-law and cronies aka Patrick Bodohwi to gain. Terengganu is a whole different stoy, there's a reported oil royalties of close to RM1billion in the coffers for them to plunder. That's where they come up with Taman Tamadun Islam, Monsoon Cup, Endurance Cup and Visit Terengganu Year 2008. All over-priced projects that do not benefit the rakyat and only enriches the cronies.

The Sultan is clear that the former Menteri Besar is totally unacceptable and maybe is even indicating that palace and the rakyat do not want anything to do with UMNO and their pludering cronies anymore.

Wakeup LAH, you're not welcomed here anymore!

WHY LAH MUHAMMAD "MIKE TYSON" TAIB!!!

Here we have an ex-Menteri Besar who does not speak very much english and pleaded ignorance to a Brisbane court when caught red handed with undeclared millions in cash.

Here is the person who lied to the Sultan of Selangor when he eloped with his daughter. The then Sultan had a photocopy made of the RM12 million cheque and this was sent to the then Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad with a query as to how the Menteri Besar, on his salary, could afford to pay that same amount for a settlement.

This RM12 million cheque is all the more intriguing because, a few years earlier, he purportedly could not afford to pay the RM80,000 penalty when he left government service as a teacher for politics. The article by Raja Petra also alleges that the payment of the RM80,000 penalty was waived by then Finance Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

This fucker who has so many questionable and controversial dealings and decisions during his time as MB of Selangor. He is actually a disgrace to the country however our idiot Prime Minister somehow see it fit to appoint him a Senator and to top it off even makes him Minister of Rural and Regional Development.

However i'm soooo sad the idiot PM didn't choose KJ the SIL into cabinet coz that would definetly be another nail into his political coffin!

STEP DOWN LAH

Mukhriz Mahathir "I appeal to you to take responsibility for the defeat. Only by your resigning as prime minister and Umno president can the recovery of Umno, BN and the nation be accomplished successfully," he wrote, echoing his father's statements last Sunday."

Umno stalwart Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah alluded to Pak Lah's resignation in a press statement: "The leadership team must wake from its slumber, face the truth and accept full responsibility for this debacle".

Let's face it the senior UMNO leaders and their rent seekers are all total useless idiots. How can they not see that this embarassing defeat in the polls is caused by the weakest leadership in UMNO history. Abdullah, who has rejected calls to resign, said he had a "very good mandate" despite the poor showing at the polls.

He's bloody passing the buck for his 4 years of mismanagement and deceit. He's a fuckin weak leader who cannot face up to his challengers and critisism that he will always use others to do his dirty work like call upon Najib to look into matters and now he's leaving it to Hishammuddin to look into Mukhriz Mahathir.

Frankly i rather see this guy stay in office and embarass UMNO and Barisan Nasional. God knows they deserve each other. Here is a man who is so consumed with his ability and beliefs that its really entertaining to watch him fuck things up.

So carry on sleeping LAH!

KIT SIANG YOU BIGOT!!!

CRACKS APPEAR IN PERAK OPPOSITION ALLIANCE.
http://www.bernama.com/bernama/v3/news_lite.php?id=320337

NO DAP CEC MANDATE FOR PAS MENTERI BESAR IN PERAK.
http://blog.limkitsiang.com/2008/03/12/no-dap-cec-mandate-for-pas-menteri-besar-in-perak/

I don't believe this just as the dust is settling after all that excitement, we get fucked by this. Lim Kit Siang has to open his big mouth and spew crap to spoil their chance of making the new goverment work.

Change by all means but for fucks sake give it time to work don't go about shooting yourself in the mouth. How can you claim that the DAP is a multiracial party then go about saying the chinese are not comfortable with this and that?? That fuckin statement will come back to haunt you and your son in Penang now.

Kit Siang, are you getting old and senile or what, or has Power gone to your head its making you giddy!! Do not for a minute even entertain the thought that DAP won seats in this election solely because of itself neither did people vote DAP because they love DAP too much but it's because they just hate Barisan Nasional!!! Forty plus years of hard work by the opposition will now be undone in four days........BRAVO you pathetic excuse for a human being!!!

FUCKIN BIGOT!!!

FUNNIES :-)

What's the similarity between the Barisan Nasional led Malaysian government and a condom?
Both allow for inflation, halt human production, destroy the next generation, protect a bunch of pricks, and give you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed!

TSUNAMI 2008

"A tsunami (pronounced /tsuːˈnɑːmi/) is a series of waves created when a body of water, such as an ocean, is rapidly displaced. Earthquakes, mass movements above or below water, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions, landslides, underwater earthquakes, large meteoroid or asteroid impacts and testing with nuclear weapons at sea all have the potential to generate a tsunami. The effects of a tsunami are always devastating due to the immense volumes of water and energy involved."............

I admit it that i didn't expect to witness such a historical feat by the opposition party in denying the ruling Barisan National its two thirds majority. Stayed up all night watching history unfold over the tv till the wee hours of the morning but it was worth it. What makes it even more unbelievable the victories in Kedah, Perak, Selangor and Federal Territories. Penang i was hopeful and Kelantan i expected. Thats 5 states and just to think that the opposition was a mere 30 seats away from a simple majority.

To top it off the defeats of the likes of Zainudin Maidin, Samy Velu, M Kayveas, Koh Tsu Koon and the fuckin MCA fuckers really made this a general election to remember.

I went to bed happy and proud knowing that the people of Malaysia have finally chosen to discard the racial politics practised by BN. The BN has been arrogant and has taken the people for ride now its payback, you can only fool the people so many times.

IS HE SERIOUS..........

"The last four years have been a period of success and development. The Barisan Nasional has carried out nearly all of its promises laid out in the coalition's manifesto in the last general election,“We have been carrying out our development agenda at all times to see that the people have better lives,” Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said. "

We’ve got an idiot for a PM living in a fantasy world who thinks his way of doing things is right because he believes there is a God who talks to him and tells him so.He will tell us how the nation’s economy has never been so strong. He will laud his own accomplishments to the skies. He has been lying through his teeth when he claimed "Work With Me, Not For Me" its more like "Know Your Place And Shut Your Face!"

I don’t know about you, but when it comes to a retrospective peek at the past four years, I was much better off and happier back then. In fact, you’d have to be living under a rock somewhere with Rip Van Winkle to think you’re better off today. You'd have to be insane.

I just can’t believe what I’m reading sometimes. I have no problem with people having different opinions than me, it’s only human. If everybody was on the same wavelenght, our world would be kind of boring. The problem is when people are giving false information to prove their point. I usually avoid speaking when I don’t know what I’m talking about or if I don’t have valid arguments to prove my point. But it seems some just don’t care about that, they’re just so much convinced of their beliefs that they’ll twist the information to fit their way of thinking. That’s how I find what our fuckin politicians doing. They will say anything and everything under the sun for their own selfish gains.

So excuse me while I throw up!

Alan Moore / V for Vandetta

"Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici "(By the power of Truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe)

Here's something that crossed my mind since it being election fever and i thought i will highlight one of my favourite authors.

Alan Moore is one of my favourite english writers, actually its his medium of writing that attracted me ie.Graphic Novels/Comics. Amongst the the countless are "Watchmen, From Hell, Swamp Thing, The League of Extrodinary Gentlemen and V for Vandetta, which was adapted to the big screen and believe it or not Moore refused payment from it!!

I enjoyed the movie because i don't expect much from movies. However i found the dialog very bold eventhough it varied from the book. But we must remember that whats good in a book may not necessarily be translated to the big screen. The movie proposes some really disturbing ideas and gets you to thinking. I feel we need this thought provoking process in order to break the cycle of perpetual media brain washing.

Below is a transcript to V's television broadcast transcribed from the book. Read it till the end and think about it.

Here we go:

"Good evening London,

I thought it time we had a little talk.

Are you sitting comfortably?

Then I’ll begin…

I supposed you are wondering why I called you here this
evening. Well, you see, I’m not entirely satisfied with your performance
lately.. I am afraid your work’s been slipping, and… and well, I am afraid we’ve
been thinking about letting you go.

Oh, I know, I know. You’ve been with the company a long time
now. Almost.. let me see. Almost ten Thousand years! My word, doesn’t time fly?
It seems like only yesterday..

I remember the day you commenced your employment, swinging
down from trees, fresh-faced and nervous, a bone clasped in your bristling fist…”Where
do I start, sir?’ You asked , plaintively.

I recall my exact words: “There is a pile of dinosaur eggs
over there, youngster,” I said, smiling paternally the while. “Get sucking.”

Well, we’ve certainly come a long way since then, haven’t we?
And yes, yes, you’re right, in all that time you haven’t missed a Day. Well
done thou good and faithful servant.

Also, please don’t think I’ve forgotten about your
outstanding service record or about the invaluable contribution that you’ve
made to the company ( Picture of man landing on the moon in the background).
Fire, the wheel, agriculture…It’s an impressive list, old-timer. A Jolly
impressive list. Don’t get me wrong. But…well, to be frank, we’ve had our
problems, too. There is no getting away from it. Do you know what I think a lot
of it stems from? I’ll tell you..

It’s your basic unwillingness to GET ON within the company.
You don’t seem to want to face up to any real responsibility, or to be your own
boss. Lord knows you’ve been given plenty of opportunities. We’ve offered you
promotion time and time again, and each time you’ve turned us down.” I couldn’t
handle the work, Guv’ner,” you wheedled. “I know my place!"

To be frank, you’re not even trying, are you?

You see, you’ve been standing still for far too long and it’s
starting to show in your work. And, I might add, in your general standard
behavior.

The constant bickering on the factory floor has not escaped
my attention, nor the recent bouts of rowdiness in the Staff Canteen. Then of
course there’s.. Hmmm. Well, I don’t really want to have to bring this up, but…
Well, you see. I’ve been hearing some disturbing rumors about your personal
life. No, never mind who told me. No names, no pack drill…

I understand that you
are unable to get on with your spouse. I hear that you argue. I am told that
you shout. Violence has been mentioned. I am reliably informed that you always
hurt the one you love… The one you shouldn’t hurt at all.

And what about the children? It’s always the children who
suffer, as you’re well aware. Poor little Mites. What are they to make of it?
What are they to make of your bullying, your despair, your cowardice and all of
your fondly nurtured bigotries?

Really, it’s not good enough is it?

And it’s no good blaming the drop in work standards upon bad
management either, though, to be sure the management is VERY BAD.

In fact, let us not mince words… The Management is TERRIBLE!

We’ve had a string of embezzlers, frauds, Liars, and lunatics
making a string of catastrophic decisions ( Pictures of Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini
in the back ground). This is plain fact.

But who elected them?

It was YOU! You who appointed these people! You gave them
the power to make your decisions for you!

While I’ll admit that anyone can make a mistake once, to go
on making the same lethal errors century after century seems to me nothing
short of deliberate.

You have encouraged those malicious incompetents, who have
made your working Life a shambles. You have accepted without question their senseless
orders. You have allowed them to fill your workspace with dangerous and unproven
machines (Picture of a nuclear explosion in the background).

You could’ve stopped them. All you had to say was “NO”.

You have no spine. You have no pride. You are no longer an
asset to the company.

I will, however, be generous. You will be granted two years
to show me some improvement in your work. If at the end of that time you are
still unwilling to make a go of it… You’re Fired!

That will be all.. You may return to your labors now!"

GE2008...(2)

After being bombarded with teargas and water cannons the indian comunity now have to put up with more crap from the MIC. Although i don't agree with Hindraf's claim of genocide which is absurd, however i have to say that this community will carry on to suffer if they don't standup againts that MIC dictator.

What the FUCK!! Hello Samy did you proof read and approved this!!! Frankly i don't see how you're going to win back the support of your community like that. After a statement like that the indians have to prepare for the worst as they cannot rely on the MIC to look after their interest. Frankly after reading this i really hope the MIC lose big time in the coming election. If there was ever a single most arrogant statement ever made this definetly takes the cake.

I'm so incensed i'm lost for words!!! However i hope the indian community will take this as a sign that its time to kick this fuckers out!!! Its about time the indians take control of the situation and throw these so called leaders OUT!!! Is it so bad that the BN condone's such actions by their component party to win votes.

I hope the indians realise that the MIC have sold them out and made the look stupid!!! If they continue to support the BN then all i have to say that is you're so stupid and being played for a fool by MIC for UMNO's gain.

Its time for the indians to not be blackmailed and reclaim back some shred of dignity and not to be taken for granted. Earlier i did say that i hope to see some so called candidates lose, now after reading this i hope to see MIC get fucked in this election.

STOKE CITY FC estb. 1863

I like football just as much as the next guy which explains why i comb the net for the latest news to read. It's an addiction and i admit it. My introduction to English League football came about when my uncle Eddie gave me my first copies of "Shoot" magazine in the early 1970's. Back then the issues we got were like a couple of months behind so it was all old news by then. Anyways one copy had on the cover Stoke City 2 vs Chelsea 1 in the 1972 League Cup Final (the only major trophy the club ever won).

I don't know what attracted me (maybe it was their striped strip) to the club and to cut along story short i became a supporter. I still follow the clubs progress up to now even though i follow Liverpool in the EPL.
I have noticed some supporters from Malaysia leaving messages on the clubs website and fansites, so i guess i'm not alone.

I must say that it has been an agonising 2 decades of heartbreak and near misses whenever i read the little coloums in the the back pages of the newspapers. Where the results of The Potters games were like on a single line (this was before the time of the internet). Missing out on the playoff's last season on the last day was tough however this season is really exciting for us as we are right up there in the Coca-Cola Championships chasing for promotion to the Premiership. The team has got a dozen or so games to go and i'm keeping my fingers crossed they make it this season. The last time they were in the top flight was 1985.

Championship matches hardly get any air time in Malaysia and when they were drawn to play Newcastle Utd in the FA Cup this season was one of the rare occassions i got to see them in action. And we nearly upset them too!

I'm hopeful that its their year this season and that they will be right up there next season with the likes of ManU, Arsenal,Liverpool and Chelsea and give them a run for their money.
